Capital Heritage
Ltd was incorporated in 2009. It is directed by Victoria
Grouden who graduated with a B.A. in 1992 (double major
in Art History and Anthropology) and an M.A.(Hons.)
in 1995 (Anthropology [Archaeology]) from the University
of Auckland.
Victoria
has worked on projects in Northland, Auckland, The Bay
of Plenty, the East Coast, Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Kapiti
and Wellington regions.
She has experience
in a wide range of archaeological and heritage services
including: archaeolgical site assessments, archaeological
site surveys, cultural heritage research, cultural heritage
inventories, artefact analysis, archaeological investigation
and mitigation.
Clients have
included government departments (Department of Conservation,
Ministry of Justice), regional and local authorities
(Gisborne District Council, Kapiti Coast Regional Council,
Porirua City Council) and a large number of private
individuals and companies.
She is a
member of the NZ Historic Places Trust, the NZ Archaeological
Asssociation, the Australasian Society for Historic
Archaeology and the Wellington Archaeological Group.
